OUR STORY
OUR TRADITION

SUWRFC was founded the spring of 1997 by two SU students. With no jerseys, no coach and no formal training, the team lost all but 2 games their first 2 seasons. Determined, they procured a coaching staff and set their goals high.

Over the next 20 years, SUWRFC went on to win Conference Championships, NRU Championships and D1 State Championships. We’ve produced several USA Eagles, Women’s Premier League players, and created an alumni association of hundreds of women supporting current and former SU students.

Today, SUWRFC consists of +35 active players. Our fall season runs from August-November and spring from February-April. We strive to keep SUWRFC traditions alive by playing for each other and those who came before us.
